Good news for bajaj ‘pulsar’ series fans the Bajaj revealed
the new Pulsar 400 SS at the 2014 Auto Expo.
The ‘SS’ in the name of bajaj pulsar 400SS means ‘super
sport’.
Pulsar 400SS has 373.2cc single cylinder 4 stroke engine with liquid cooled and it also has triple spark plugs .
This engine will give maximum power of 44 bhp at 9500 rpm and maximum torque of 35 Nm at 7250rpm. The engine is the modified KTM Duke 390 engine.
Pulsar 400SS is a fuel injected and will get 4-valves.
This super bike will come with 6-speed transmission.The expected mileage the bajaj pulsar 400SS would give is 25 km/l.
The pulsar 400SS has a
top speed of above 150 km/h.
This bike would take about 7-8 seconds to reach 0-100 km/h.
The bajaj pulsar400SS will be equipped with Antilock Braking
System (ABS).
Pulsar 400SS will come with front round disc brakes and
the rear were regular petals.
